Break Times

______ 20. Students will receive two (15) minute breaks and one (30) minute lunch break daily. 


Daily Sanitation and Duties

______ 21. Each day students will be responsible for cleaning after themselves. Daily sanitations are MANDATORY and failure in doing so will result with an immediate disciplinary action. Sanitations can include but are not limited to wiping down tables and chairs, sweeping, emptying trash, washing and drying towels. Students will get sanitation check off sheets that must be checked off and signed weekly by the instructor.


Leave of Absence

 ______22. Any student requesting a leave of absence may do so by submitting a request for approval by email. A&A does grant leave of absence if it is considered personal on a case by case basis, intermediate family members or medical.  

        

 ______ 23. All requests MUST be approved on a case by case basis in regards to time allowance ranging from 2 weeks up to 30 days. Time off cannot exceed more than 30 days and can be subject to a re-enrollment fee if past 30 days. 

If medical, a request must be submitted with a doctor's statement. 

Grievance

______ 24. Students are allowed up to 3 days of bereavement with a request submitted by email. Upon return to class, students will be responsible for getting with the instructor to discuss any work missed during absence. 

Graduation Requirements

______ 25. Students must have completed and passed all assignments with a score of 84% 

______26. Students must have completed and demonstrated skill and knowledge of services. 

______ 27. Students must complete Domestic Violence certification.

______28. Students must have completed 600 clock hours.

______ 29. Students must have paid tuition and fees in full before hours can be released to TN State Board in order to sit for licensure. Students will not receive diplomas until fees are paid. 

______ 30. Students must have passed all Final test examinations with a score of 84%.

______ 31. Students must complete exit counseling with administration. 

 

 Transfer of Hours

______ 32. A&A Nail Academy DOES NOT allow transfer hours from another institution and must be officially withdrawn from the program before enrollment at A&A.
